iDEAL has been revamped. You can now pay for your purchases faster with your iDEAL profile and share your delivery address directly with the online shop, meaning you no longer need to fill it in. Now that’s useful! This happens securely and only with your consent.

Only go ahead with your payment when you see https://pay.ideal.nl/ and a padlock icon at the top of your screen on the iDEAL payment page. That way, you’ll know for certain that this is the iDEAL page and that it is secure.
Always check first whether the online shop or website where you are placing an order is trustworthy. Check comparison sites and reviews, for example. Can you make secure payments there? Are there any contact details?
Only go ahead with your payment when you see https://pay.ideal.nl/ and a padlock icon at the top of your screen. This means that the page belongs to iDEAL. You can also check the URL of the payment page on checkjelinkje.nl (only in Dutch).
Indeed, you do not need to use an e.dentifier for iDEAL payments. Simply use the ABN AMRO app, Internet Banking or one of our other tools to confirm your payment.
If you have made a payment using iDEAL and you want your money back, you cannot reverse the payment through the ABN AMRO app or Internet Banking. Please contact the person or shop that you paid.
