Starting investing prepared - Promotion terms and conditions

This promotion applies to customers who do not invest with ABN AMRO yet. As a new customer, you will qualify for a €50 bonus if you meet the following criteria:

• You open an investment account with ABN AMRO for the first time during the promotion period (1 April 2024 to 30 June 2024).
• You set up a periodic investment of €150 for 3 months (€450 in total) at any time during the promotional period (1 April 2024 to 30 June 2024).

Invest, by setting up a periodic deposit via Internet Banking, a minimum of €150 per month for three consecutive months in one investment fund of your choice, with your newly opened investment account.

Leave the total amount of your periodic deposits, i.e. at least €450 (3 x €150), for these first 3 months in the chosen investment fund. You will then receive a €50 bonus on your linked current account in the fourth month.

You don't have to sign up for this promotion. The promotion runs from 1 April 2024 to 30 June 2024. Your first periodic investment must start no later than 1 July 2024.

Please note: Investing involves risks. You could lose (some of) the money you invested.

1. Open an ABN AMRO Guided Investing, Self Directed Investing Basic or Self Directed Investing Plus account.
2. Set up your periodic deposit of at least € 150 per month via Internet Banking for at least three consecutive months in the chosen investment fund. See here for more information about periodic investing.
3. Your first periodic investment must start no later than 1 July 2024.
4. Make sure that you have sufficient funds in your linked current account for at least four months so that the periodic deposit can actually be made.
5. During these first four months, you may not withdraw your executed periodic deposit.
6. You will then receive a €50 bonus on your linked current account in the fifth month.

Example – start 8 April 2024: 

Suppose you set up your first periodic investment for 8 April 2024. The three subsequent monthly periodic investments will then be made on 8 April, 8 May and 8 June. You leave the total amount of the three monthly periodic investments, i.e. at least €450, in the chosen investment fund during these three months. You will then receive your bonus of €50 in July.

• The maximum bonus of €50 applies per person, irrespective of the number of registrations. In other words, you can never receive more than €50 per person.
• Make sure that you have sufficient funds in your linked current account to complete the initial periodic deposits. If a periodic deposit within the first three months fails, you will no longer be eligible to receive the bonus.
• You can also participate in the promotion with a joint account.
• You cannot participate in the promotion with both your solo and joint investment accounts.
• Private Banking customers of ABN AMRO MeesPierson are excluded from this promotion.
• In the fifth month after your first monthly periodic deposit, the bonus of €50 will be deposited into the current account linked to your investment account.
